Did you know that a baby’s skin is 3 to 5 x thinner than adult’s skin until they reach the age of 2?

A newborn skin is very sensitive and needs up to 2 years to reach a thickness of the skin which is protecting well. With knowing this we need to pay a lot of attention to the care and the daily influences. Especially with the conditions being 24h packed into wipers the skin demands a 100% drying sensation during changing the wipers or after the bath. 

But it’s difficult with the tissues as they stick on the wet skin and the towels? Yes, they dry good but what about all the parts with the skinfolds? My baby boy is so beautiful round and, on the leg folds, I don’t reach all to be dried with a soft towel. I searched long for an efficient and fast drying solution as I didn’t accept to let my baby with red skin or inflammations only because, I wasn’t able to dry him at the best. As well am totally aware of all the bacteria in the towels as they always stay a little bit wet over the days in the bathroom. My partner told me to take a hair dryer, but I thought it is too hot for the skin and as well the noise & the blow are immense. And not to forget about that my baby could start to play with the electricity cable.

So, my challenge has been to develop something baby-safe and efficient at the same time to dry my baby boy.

With my innovative Hair & Body dryer I found the answer to my daily challenges. It is drying smooth without too much heat. The noise of the dryer is reduced and is similar to the white noise what our babies hear in our belly. I will deep dive into this in another blog. But already to mention, the moment I dry him with the dryer he is getting super relaxed and calm. Furthermore, the hair & skin dryer is without any cable, what gives security versus electro shocks or other dangerous situations. And the front applicator in silicon is letting the warm air trough, but doesn’t heat himself, so no risk if my boy is touching it. And he loves to look at this dryer a lot as the design of the little blue tilt animates him to smile. We call it Anabelle like a part of my brand Max & Anabelle. Additional safety gives the small opening of the adapter what prevents to get the fingers in.
